Dr. Jerica Lugo
During and after undergraduate school, Dr. Lugo volunteered at a local animal shelter where she helped educate pet owners about the importance of vaccination, spay and neuter, key aspects of shelter medicine.
Dr. Lugo graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and shelter medicine. During her schooling, she continued to be very involved in the local shelters and mentored other veterinary students in the shelter’s surgical opportunities program, which offers surgical experience to current veterinary students.
Dr. Lugo is the most recent addition to the MAH team. She and her husband reside in Lansdale and share their home with their adorably mischievous dog Annabelle and their two friendly cats, Storm and Panda.
