Nursing Team

Macungie Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing quality medical and surgical healthcare with a professional, educated and experienced medical team. Our nursing team is made up of eight licensed veterinary nurses, one experienced veterinary nurse, and two nursing assistants. Their collective goal is to ensure that your pet’s medical needs are met in the most stress free environment possible.

We know you and your pet value a personal experience when you are here. To that end, we have established nurse/doctor teams to serve your needs.  Nurses are assigned to work with particular doctors and become familiar with the clients and their pets on an individual level. This familiarity facilitates more comprehensive follow up care and less patient anxiety. Your pet will have the benefit of medical professionals that work together as a team to meet his or her needs.
Our team attends continuing education courses throughout the year in order to stay up to date on the most recent technology, techniques and medications. New ideas are discussed and evaluated in order to implement beneficial improvements for our patients and practice.
